I was going to lead with let there be light, but oh well. Exciting news, we have our power on! Gone are the work lights draped from the ceiling. Our florescent lights in our ceiling grid are working and the place is sooooo much brighter. Even on a gloomy morning like today the place is wonderfully lit. So, I have attended my fair share of Memorial Day parades in Blue Ash. Today was the first time I was in the parade. First thing I noticed was how well organized Blue Ash has the parade. Framing inspection and Electrical Rough-In Inspections, check! Let the drywall begin, and begin it has. Huber General Contracting says drywall will be done by this weekend which is good because through all of this we have had a target opening date in mind. Everyone thought that our target open date was aggressive, and it probably is. No, I won’t say what it is, but we took another big step in hitting that goal.

The concrete is cured and we can walk on it now. Huber General Contracting dropped off the supplies to begin framing. Soon, there will be walls! Then it will really begin to take shape. Right now it is still just lines on some paper but very soon Huber will bring that to life. I can’t wait!
